Cindy began serving here at Berean Baptist Church by volunteering off and on at Bearing Precious Seed Bibles beginning in 2002. She and her husband also went on many mission trips into Mexico with the church over the years. Cindy relocated to Franklin from Lebanon in 2019 to be closer to her family. She retired in 2020 and began volunteering at Bearing Precious Seed Bibles again. Providentially, she came on staff as Church Secretary in 2021. She is passionate about serving God and sharing the love of Christ.
My name is David McKnight. I did not grow up in a Christian home. My mom sent us to church but did not go with us, for this, I am very thankful. We were also involved in Wheeler Missions inner city youth ministries. When I was 13 years old at Wheelers summer camp, I heard about how much Jesus loved me and that He died for my sins so that I could live. I accepted Jesus as my savior. I am the outreach director here at Berean Baptist Church. I am married to my wife of seventeen years. We have three sons; David, Daniel, and Drew. I have been serving here at Berean since 2010.
I was born in Southern Indiana. in 1940, our family moved to Indianapolis. My wife Dee, was born and raised in Indianapolis. We both accepted Christ in our teens. We met while I was home on leave from the Navy in December 1955. We were married in August 1957. During a revival meeting in 1963, the Lord called us into full-time service. After graduating from Indiana Baptist College, I pastored for 23 years. During a Missions Conference in 1989, the Lord spoke to our hearts about full-time mission work. For the past 28 years, we have been with Bearing Precious Seed at Berean Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN. representing the ministry and helping in the printing of God’s Word. During this time, I had the privilege to make 40 trips to Mexico seeing hundreds receive the Lord as their personal Savior and providing pastors and missionaries with thousands of Spanish Scriptures.
